Just wanting to get a bit of a show of interest here. A while back I attempted to write down the process that I go through to complete a vector, since at the time people were asking me about it. Assuming I get around to making another one some time soon, I was considering recording what I do via a screencasting program. That way I can demonstrate the steps while actually narrating it and you can listen to my sexy Australian accent* and stuff. I think that given what we’re talking about, having someone demonstrate and explain what they’re doing is probably far more valuable than having it written down. Probably make it easier for people who actually know what they’re doing to tell me how shit I am at it too.
* technically my accent is a blend of New Zealand and Australian and I sound very boring

New vector, first one I’ve done in ages. I spent longer on this than I was originally going to - once I got to Charlotte’s horrible ugly set of pilot wings in the original image I took some time out and actually went hunting for a real set. Charlotte is based off Chuck Yeager, who had command pilot wings. I took the liberty of tracing the photo from wikipedia and using that as the basis of her wings rather than that boxy looking number with the big blue ball on the top. I think it was worth it. I also think I may have OCD.
Oh, and to save commenters the trouble: MAN STRIKE WITCHES SUCKS HOW COULD ANYONE ENJOY WATCHING THIS UNLESS THEY ARE HUGE GIANT CREEPY PEDOS WHERE ARE THEIR PANTS OH GOD IT’S NO WONDER GONZO ARE GOING BANKRUPT WE NEED TO NUKE JAPAN AGAIN LOLOLOL

Crap. Looks like I won’t be playing for a few weeks. I think that it must have seen me ordering a Japanese PS3 and gotten angry. It’s one of the Australian launch batch, though not purchased until 6 months after launch, so it’s surprising how well it’s lasted.
