Friday last week, I went down to my local EB Games to pick up Bioshock. I had had the collector’s edition preordered practically since the game was first shown off at E3 in 2006 - I was a big fan of System Shock so it was pretty much a no-brainer. Unfortunately, I got there and my CE preorder had mysteriously turned into a standard edition order.
Then a sudden, horrifying thought occurred to me. “Can you just check that my preorder for the Halo 3 Legendary Edition is still in place?”

September is a busy month for Atlanta in terms of conventions, ain’t it? Along with Anime Weekend Atlanta at the end of the month (which I am most assuredly going to), there’s also the continent’s second largest sci-fi/fantasy/comics/general nerdshit convention happening this weekend: DragonCon. Fortunately, I get to attend DragonCon for the very first time this year, as I’ll be going together with Marmot of TsunTsun fame. Now obviously, this means you won’t be hearing from me until at least Monday, but do expect pictures and stories of fat Klingon cosplay upon my return!
‘Til then!

I got sick and tired of bots registering accounts for the site in some kind of misguided attempt to write spam posts or something. I don’t actually know why I had account registration enabled anyway. It’s turned off and I’ve deleted all the accounts except a small handful which actually corresponded to people I recognise. If I’ve inadvertently deleted you, I apologize, but you don’t need an account to post comments so it shouldn’t matter.
This just came to my attention via a friend on IRC, via moonphase.

A third Aria TV series, ARIA The ORIGINATION. Fuck yes. Official announcement will be in the October issue of Comic Blade as you can see. I assume that will include more details, because all we can tell from this is that it’s happening, and that somewhere between the upcoming OAV and this third season Akari becomes smoking hot.
I ended up not doing one of these posts last season because there really didn’t seem to be much that I intended to watch. Although in actual fact, there’s at least four that I’m following. Anyway, most of the stuff I knew I’d want to be following started in the Spring season (April ‘07). Anyway, this is once again a list of the shows I’m reasonably interested in and will likely be following for the Autumn season (October ‘07). Like my last entries like this, this is not intended to be an exhaustive list of everything that’s going to be running. For that you can check moonphase. These are instead shows that have managed to interest me somewhat. Also if you look at the stuff I’ve been interested in in previous attempts, you’ll notice I always end up picking a few utter stinkers.
Such is life. (Note to self: stop watching so much anime)
