Just a heads up, I will be on vacation in Florida until the 29th. Obviously, this means no blog entries will be made by me until then, though Neg may have a few lined up.
On another note, last Friday I became a college alumnus. I graduated magna cum laude from The Art Institute of Atlanta, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Arts and Animation.
…and now I need a job.
Anyway, see you in a week!
I’m going to be moving the site to a new host in the next few days, so there may be some downtime.
EDIT: Move is in progress at the moment. This is my new server. I’ll be re-uploading traces etc in the next 24 hours or so.
Kiddy Grade 2 is coming. Apparently Eclair and Lumiere are being replaced with a suspiciously similar duo. Eclair’s replacement is apparently named Que-Feuilles. I stuck this shot together from a slow pan in the recent trailer, decided to trace it. I’m a big fan of Megumi Kadonosono’s design work despite the fact she lacks a bit of variation and I enjoyed most of Kiddy Grade, so I’m really looking forward to KG2 when it starts.

One half is very firmly in the camp that declares that the show is progressing with the pace of a lame turtle, and the other half argues that it’s just temporary and things are still being set up and it’s going to get awesome any minute now. I’m unfortunately in the former group, despite having sat in the latter for a while. By now I’m sure everyone’s sick of ‘omg strikers sux’ blog posts, but I want to spend some time reflecting on why it’s failing a lot of people’s expectations, rather than what it is failing at.
