Yep, I’m finally tracing again. I’ve had a number of distractions since Kaede last year, a few personal things, a lot of games (I’m 17 hours into Twilight Princess…) and some technical issues, but I’m back. Here’s everyone’s favourite nerd, Satomi.
This puts me past halfway on this project.
I just realised that this blog is two years old as of the start of the month. Don’t bother going back to January ‘05 though, there was just as little substantial content and a much lower signal-to-noise ratio. Actually I suspect the dates are faulty, as before I set up wordpress I was using some other horrible abortion.
I’m a huge fan of Nanoha (well, technically I’m a huge fan of Fate-chan) so I was one of the people who was going spare over the last week or so when the Nanoha site was updated with new promo art featuring the main three we were expecting along with four new characters. No one seemed to know who they were, but with some research (read: the 4th chapter of the manga) I can answer a bit of that.
I’ve been having some major issues with my mouse for the last two months or so - double clicks being registered when I perform a single click - and despite cleaning it out several times and changing over to another USB port, the problem has gotten worse and worse, to the point that any precision clicking, ie tracing, is incredibly irritating. Don’t expect any more Negima traces from me until I’ve had a chance to go buy a new mouse, which probably won’t be for at least another few days. I was going to go today but everywhere was closed. 
It also won’t help that I recently noticed TRSI selling all of Cardcaptor Sakura for $80 and decided to pick it up. I’ve had a few random DVDs from the series as well as both movies for years now, but kept putting off picking them up until now.
