FFXII was, without a doubt, one of my most anticipated games of 2006. In fact, when I found out that it was probably not going to get a PAL release until later in 2007, it was enough to tip me over the edge and go and get my console modded just so that I could import the US release early. Everything I was reading about it was positive - dark, compelling story, modernised battle system, graphical sophistication, polish… everything is there. It is undoubtedly a great game.
But I hate playing it.
As sort-of promised, here’s Kaede. The original image had an odd one-cheek-blush thing going on, and it looked quite strange in the trace so I turned it off.
Once again, not sure which of them is next in my sights. Whichever it is, it will put me past the halfway mark. Yay.
I ended up deciding to complete another trace this afternoon, rather than mucking about with my 360. I’m now within spitting distance of being halfway through this project, which is going to be great. I’m thinking I’m pretty much on track to finish about the same time that Negima!? finishes as well.
Seeing as a lot of people have asked for Kaede, I will probably do her next. No promises though.
I’m going to be a bit… distracted… when it comes to tracing for a little while. The reason should be in the sidebar to the right. Yeah, I caved in. So far I’m glad I did, too.

I got busy over the weekend. Busy sleeping, that is, as the mercury was over 40 on Sunday and it was all smoky and horrible due to massive bushfires in this state. Anyway, I was asked to do Ku Fei last week, so here she is, sporting the appropriate :3 expression, which I must admit to accentuating slightly as it was not nearly noticeable enough in the original.
If anyone’s wondering how I go about selecting these, recently I’ve basically been gathering up the suggestions I’ve gotten since the last girl, then hopping on various IRC channels I haunt and asking which I should do next. Majority wins. Though this does end up meaning that the same few people end up calling it, I don’t really mind. So in other words, keep requesting and I’ll do her eventually. :3
