Well, as promised, welcome to part two of Nagi’s Animu Spring Break. Where my last entry focused on the TV and OVA series I watched over the last week, this entry will focus on the films I watched. Most of it is Studio Ghibli stuff taped off of last January’s month-long celebration of Miyazaki on local cable station Turner Classic Movies, but there’s also some relatively newer releases, as well as some extremely rare items that I’m proud to say I was able to get my hands on.
So let’s get on with it, shall we?

Really, really quick trace of one of the new girls in School Rumble S2. I’m not usually a fan of tanlines, but yeah, this shot was hot…
So, it’s been a while since I wrote a proper update. Two weeks. My excuse is that I got busy, then I got sick
I’ve actually not been watching a very diverse set of things, instead I decided I should finish a few things. Nagi has already commented on the end of Shakugan no Shana and my sentiments basically repeat what he said, so I won’t restate them. I’ll instead give my thoughts on Mai-Otome and Mushishi’s ‘endings’ (both will recieve more material at a later date) as well as talking about a recent bender I’ve been on.

Welcome to part one of Nagi’s Animu Spring Break. Yes, this past week was the second half of my Spring Break, and I kinda got serious with the anime watching. I watched so much, in fact, that I feel the need to divide it all into two separate entries. Expect the second one some time tomorrow. For this entry, I will be focusing on the TV series and OVAs I watched over the week, while the next entry will focus exclusively on the movies.
By the way, I guess I should give you a little heads-up that there WILL be spoilers here, as there will be in just about every one of my entries. But I will clearly mark where I discuss each title—and for series, the episodes I cover if I’m not doing the entire series in a single pass—so that you can easily skip those parts you don’t want potentially ruined for you.

The guys at Mirror-Moon who are working on the Tsukihime translation at the moment (apparently the re-edit is 57% done, yay) have decided to make Christmas come early. They’re translating Fate/Stay Night. Not only that, they’re already a decent way into it - up to Day 3. I assume they’ll just be translating the Fate scenario, but any of it is better than none of it.
And no, this isn’t me repeating an April Fools joke.
