Pinku Again

It just didn’t make sense for this blog not to have pinku.

Fate anime cast

http://lolip.hp.infoseek.co.jp/#050626 (warning, Japanese)

Edit: cleaned this up a bit. My command of the Japanese language is poor, but I’m pretty sure this is all correct.

Shirou Emiya - Noriaki Sugiyama
Saber - Ayako Kawasumi
Rin Tousaka - Kana Ueda
Sakura Matou - Noriko Shitaya
Archer - Jun’ichi Suwabe
Fuji-nee - Miki Itou
Kirei Kotomine - Jouji Nakata

This means not just the leads from Marimite (Kana Ueda and Miki Itou are Yumi and Sachiko) but both the leads from Kannaduki no Miko are present. I’m not complaining about that at all. Assuming that the third entry (first two are staff) is Shirou (and that’s a fair assumption)… he’s being voiced by our wonderful friend Sasuke the Whiney Angst-Ninja. I personally hate this guy’s voice, and this is going to be a major downer for me even given the rest of the cast.

EDIT: I just noticed there’s a larger cast list lower down, and I’ve added what I can from that.
EDIT: again — that second list was apparently made up. :|

Adult Swim Saturday - 6/18

Well, this was an interesting week for Adult Swim. Inu-Yasha got better, Champloo sported big gay foreigners, Paranoia Agent lacked Li’l Slugger, and s-CRY-ed…well…s-CRY-ed still sucked, but what do you expect, really? And luckily, since I’m not playing some mad catch-up game, I’ll be able to go a little more into detail on each one. Except s-CRY-ed. I kinda tuned that one out and started reading MariMite manga. Hey, can you blame me though?

Adult Swim Movie Special #1: Metropolis

Now that classes are out of the way, I’m finally able to get down to watching the massive backlog of anime I’ve accumulated over the past three months. First up are Adult Swim’s two feature film specials, Metropolis & Inu-Yasha: Affections Touching Across Time. And since it aired first (and it’s the only one I’ve watched thus far), I’ll be starting with Metropolis specifically. Before I get down to business, I’m only giong to say that it’s a shame I couldn’t get the ball rolling with a more positive review.

Episodic Games?

As some of you are probably aware, the expected production cost for a best-selling game in the next few years is expected to rise to at least $20 million US dollars. This is predicted to be the death knell for a lot of small developers who lack the agility to adapt to changing circumstances. One such possible change is the whole idea of Episodic Content.
