Just finished the series. Currently looking for a support group. T_T
In other news, this series is awesome and if you don’t feel emotional watching it you’re a fucking stone.
Will write up something more detailed about it tomorrow. Going to go cry myself to sleep now.

If you’ve been following Seed, and you’re not among the raving fanboy / fangirl crowd, you’ve probably been somewhat frustrated by the quality of Seed’s writing. The chief problem is in the story’s pacing. It seems like nothing’s been happening. If go back, then you’ll remember that the series started with a massive bang, and was on track to be incredible. Once they dropped Junius-7 on Earth, though, they switched into politics mode and the plot’s flow went from a torrent to a stagnating pond.

I traced this one quite a while back, but for some reason didn’t post it here, probably because I’m a lazy bastard.
I like how this one turned out. Trace of Suigintou from Rozen Maiden. Taken from I believe the Opening Sequence. The screencap was one that I found, but given the original dimensions were anamorphic I’m assuming that the source was the R2 DVDs.
Since the source image is 16:9, I’ve also prepared a widescreen version.
Trace of Evangeline from Negima episode 6, in her full vampire getup. The background is a NASA image of the moon which I played around with. The effect turned out really nicely I think. The original image had a bunch of leaves floating around but I couldn’t find a decent brush to replicate this with, and it ended up looking awful so I deleted them.

Rozen Maiden Toroimento sort-of announced, by way of a webpage that indicates there’s a staff party to celebrate it on April 30th. Excellent news, I expect that an official announcement will be forthcoming.
On the title, I’ve seen the bizzare looking thing at the end translated as ‘träumend’, which is probably correct given the series’ previous use of German terms in spots (träumend means ‘dreaming’ in German I believe).
