I freely admit that the show is terrible moe crap, and that the whole mecha musume concept is ridiculous. But at the same time, I enjoy watching it. Partially because I have a weakness for that sort of terrible shit, but also because I really, really, really wish that someone would do a decent anime revolving around WW2 air battles and the like. Or actually, just some kind of air combat. It's been a long time since Area 88, and that wasn't even that great. I know that this is hardly a gritty war drama or anything, but when life gives you lemons... In the end, I watch anime for entertainment, and Strike Witches entertains me.
