Sorry guys, I’ve run into what is at the moment a showstopper. Ep 5’s sub is done, ready to go. The problem is that my raw for ep 5 is a little over 500mb. Given the number of complaints about ep 1 being 400mb, I’ve got no intention of releasing something as big as this. From what I can see, the size is because EiEn-acg encode with the same settings for each episode, so episodes with a lot of action like ep 1 and ep 5 end up being much bigger simply due to the amount of motion in them.
I sort of know what I’m doing with video encoding, so I was able to produce a 300mb encode which looked excellent. The snag? For some reason, bits of the video are cut out of where you would normally expect to see them and appended to the end of the file. I’ll keep hammering away at things, but I’m not too proud to admit that this is not an area that I’m highly experienced in and it’s probably something stupid I’m doing wrong. If anyone happens to have any clues please let me know.
H there. Yesterday I dled you ep 1 dvd and it kinda disappointed the sound of it. It was worse than the fansubs. I don’t know what you call it but I think it’s noise or something. I check other video files with ac3 sound and they are ok. Are there no other sources?
